The Day You Left
It really is hard when we face reality. Everything seems like it's fated. My selfish side wishes that you would stay here longer, but my consciousness tells me not to be so cruel since staying in this mortal world is a burden to you. You've been telling me the stories of your life since I was a little girl and I really am proud to have a grandmother like you. You are a hero not only to me, but to the country as well. You sacrifice your time and health working day and night to help those in need. I didn't dare shed a tear when I heard that you had left. I understand that you don't like to see people cry, so I will not cry, for I am strong. You left peacefully with no regrets. Your spirit will guide you to the stairways of heaven and God will lead you into the gates of the heavenly kingdom and one day, we will reunite. You are the pride of our family and I will always remember you. R.I.P grandma.
